TSMC-Backed Vanguard, NXP Plan On Building $7.8B Semiconductor Facility In Singapore

Vanguard and NXP to create semiconductor joint venture in Singapore. New fab to produce 55,000 wafers per month by 2029. VIS will contribute $2.4 billion, securing a 60% equity stake in the initiative. NXP will invest $1.6 billion for a 40% stake.
